Now that I have graduated from the Ohio State University, I've decided to strike out into the big, bad, wild, unknown world, taking a staff position at the Ohio State University.
Ok, so the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. Turns out if you stick with it long enough they stop asking you to pay them, and start reciprocating.
I spend my days on the 7th floor of Dreese Labs mostly hacking Perl and playing the the roll of the hyper-inquisitive younger sibling. Though I have my Bachelors in Computer and Information Science, I am relatively new to the field. The learning curve has been steep, but thanks to the knowledge and patience of those around me, especially Matt Curtin, Shaun Rowland, Tami King and Sandy Farrar I finally feel like I might be ready to contribute.
