End of the Line

Well, the other shoe dropped. The CEO of onShore Devel gathered and in an emotional address told us that the business was faltering. He is going to have to let nearly two thirds of us go. The jobs just weren't rolling in the way the sales staff hoped.

I guess that whole new economy thing just isn't working out the way everyone hoped. The venture capitalists got itchy feet after loosing a few billion dollars backing www.sucking-money-pit.com. Who knew in advance that Mr. and Mrs. Net Going America didn't feel compelled to visit ill-conceived web sites just because a group of marketers succumb to techno-babble. Choke them with advertising, yank away every last vestige of their privacy, and even the american consumer will loose interest

So once again the job hunt commences.
